2018/2019: year 5 of the plan

What an amazing year we've had across all areas of ministry at C4. Truly, God has been at work amongst us. He is faithful to His promises. As we finish year 5 of our 5-year strategy called "The Plan," and look towards the beginning of Plan 2 for the next 5 years, we are seeing prompting and planning come to life in the 6 "C's" below. Check each reporting area out to see what's happened this year and let us thank God for His holy presence and power poured out for all of us on the journey.

C4's Vision: To become a regional church of 10,000 meeting the physical, emotional and spiritual needs of people in Jesus' name.

C4's Mission: To glorify God by enabling people of all ages to become fully devoted followers of Jesus Christ.

Engage in celebratory weekend experiences that will communicate the message of Jesus to people in all ages and stages of life.

Foster an environment where people can connect with God and each other in a highly relational smaller setting.

Ensure that everyone clearly understands and is encouraged to embrace our discipleship ethos.

Intentionally build bridges to our 'glocal' community as a means of compassion and hospitality.

Have a balanced financial plan to fund all current and future ministry needs.

Expand the influence of C4 core strengths to larger spheres as a means of sharing what is happening in our church.

A message from our

Pastoral lead team

Jon Thompson: Lead Pastor, Vision and Preaching

Dave Adams: Lead Pastor, Planning and Implementation

We are so proud of you, the C4 community, and we are so grateful to God for you. We can’t believe we’re at the end of our first 5 year strategic plan, and now able to look back at all that has happened over the last 5 years.

This year, you celebrated big and connected small. You shared the work and engaged in mission to see many more people of all ages enabled to become fully devoted followers of Jesus. We walked with Jesus towards greater holiness in a post-Christian culture.

We loved our times together from Bowmanville to Port Perry to Ajax, and have loved hearing story after story of how God has moved in your lives. On Sundays, in Alpha, Freedom Sessions, Connect Groups, C4 Kids/Youth/Young Adults, through C4 Church Conference and C4 Worship. Each story tells of a life changed in Jesus’ name. Our church has grown both in devotion and numbers.

We hope you’ll enjoy these stats and stories as much as we do, because they represent the move of the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit amongst us. As you read, remember that each number represents one of our C4 members. May your reading be part of your worship, and let us raise up a resurrection sound to our Living God!
